Louisburg held off Harrisonville (Mo.) to win the league crown with 622 points and Harrisonville finished in second with 577 in the five-team meet on July 21 at the Louisburg Aquatic Center.

If that wasn’t good enough, nine Barracudas also brought home high-point trophies.

Madelyn Prettyman (15-and-over) girls, Emma Prettyman (13-14 girls), Claire Brown (11-12 girls) and Casey Carpenter-Ross (9-10 boys) each took home first place league trophies. Ella Dischinger (9-10 girls) and Kadisyn Kircher (15-and-over girls) finished second, while Lincoln Nielson (8-and-under boys), Samuel Johnson (11-12 boys) and Remington Rice (13-14 boys) each came in third.

Louisburg found a lot of success in the 15-and-over girls division as Madelyn Prettyman, Kircher, Isabelle Holtzen and Avery Graham won the 200-meter medley (2:20) and freestyle (2:11) relays, while Prettyman went on to win league titles in the 50-meter butterfly (31.0), 50 breaststroke (39.0) and 200 individual medley (2:37).
