Week 6 Athlete of the Week: Charlie Koontz

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week six of the fall sports season, sponsored by Dixon Contracting Services.

CHARLIE KOONTZ, SENIOR, FOOTBALL

Louisburg senior Charlie Koontz was all over the field for the Wildcat football team last Friday in Atchison. Koontz finished the night with 72 yards rushing on 12 carries. Defensively, the senior linebacker also led the team with 10 tackles and had a forced fumble and fumble recovery in the 41-12 victory over the Redmen. The Wildcats have now won four straight games.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the fall season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
