Week 11 Athlete of the Week: Jayce Geiman

Here is your Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week 11, sponsored by Prairie Shield Roofing.

JAYCE GEIMAN, SENIOR, BASKETBALL

Louisburg senior Jayce Geiman helped the Wildcat basketball team to their first state tournament Saturday as the Wildcats defeated Fort Scott 64-52 in the sub-state championship game. Geiman led Louisburg with 15 points against Fort Scott and is averaging 10 points per game on the season. The Wildcats will Bishop Miege today in the first round of the Class 4A-Division I state tournament in Salina.

The athlete of the week will be announced every Wednesday morning throughout the winter season. The winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
