Here is your Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week one, sponsored by Tri-County Pest Control.


BAILEY BELCHER, JUNIOR, GIRLS SOCCER

Louisburg High School junior Bailey Belcher scored four goals to help give the Wildcats their first win of the season in a 6-1 victory over Sumner Academy last Thursday. Belcher scored three goals in the second half alone to record the hat trick and help seal the win. The Louisburg midfielder led the Wildcats last season with 33 goals.
The athlete of the week will be announced every Wednesday morning throughout the spring season. The winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
