PHOTO GALLERY: Lady Cats take sub-state title
- Updated: October 22, 2018

The Louisburg High School volleyball team doesn’t mind all the winning and it continued Saturday when the Lady Cats captured their seventh sub-state championship in the last nine years as they defeated Eudora, 2-0, in the championship game at Louisburg High School. Louisburg also defeated Iola, 2-0, in the sub-state semifinals.
The Lady Cats were greeted with a great atmopshere from its fans and student section, and they thrived on it as they breezed to title.
Louisburg, which finished second at state last season, will try for the program’s first state championship starting on Friday when it faces Rose Hill, Independence and Topeka-Hayden in pool play at Hutchinson Sports Arena.
Here are some photos from Saturday’s thrilling action. Make sure to travel to support the team if you can this week. Congrats again to all the players and coaches.
