Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week four of the winter sports season, sponsored by Landmark National Bank.

BLUE CAPLINGER, WRESTLING, SENIOR

Louisburg senior Blue Caplinger put on a good showing in front of his home fans Saturday during the Wildcat Classic at Louisburg High School. Caplinger, who is ranked No. 5 in Class 4A, went 4-0 on the day and won the 170-pound weight class. He finished the tournament with two pins and a victory over No. 6-ranked Brandon Martin of Piper. Caplinger is currently 19-1 on the season.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the winter season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
