Week 2 Athlete of the Week: Carson Buffington

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week two of the spring sports season, sponsored by Tri-County Termite and Pest Control.

CARSON BUFFINGTON, GIRLS SOCCER, SENIOR

Louisburg senior Carson Buffington has had a good start to her season for the Wildcat girls soccer team. Buffington, who is in her first full year as the team’s starting goalie, has recorded three shutouts to start the year and helped her team to three straight victories. Buffington also has eight saves into those three contests.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
