Week 6 Athlete of the Week: Beckett Rasmussen

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week six of the spring sports season, sponsored by Tri-County Termite and Pest Control.

BECKETT RASMUSSEN, BASEBALL, SENIOR

Louisburg senior Beckett Rasmussen had a big day with the bat Friday in the Wildcats’ doubleheader with Osawatomie. Rasmussen finished the two games with four hits, including a pair of doubles, and had six RBIs, including five in one game in a sweep of the Trojans. He is currently hitting .367 on the year with 18 hits, five doubles and nine RBIs in 49 at bats.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
