Week 7 Athlete of the Week: Brayden Yoder

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week seven of the fall sports season, sponsored by Louisburg Family Dental.

BRAYDEN YODER, SENIOR, FOOTBALL

Louisburg senior Brayden Yoder helped lead the Wildcat football team to one of their best performances of the season on defense. Yoder was a member of the defensive line that created havoc last Friday at Ottawa. At defensive tackle, Yoder finished with seven tackles, including one for a loss and a sack in the Wildcats’ 17-7 win.

Yoder is also one of the leaders on the Louisburg offensive line that accounted for nearly 300 yards of total offense. On the season, the Louisburg senior has 45 tackles to go along with 4.5 sacks and 5.5 tackles for a loss as he has helped the Wildcats to a 7-0 start.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the fall season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
