Week 5 Athlete of the Week: Rowan Yows

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week five of the spring sports season, sponsored by Landmark National Bank.

ROWAN YOWS, SENIOR, GIRLS SOCCER

Louisburg senior Rowan Yows has played key role in the success of the Wildcat girls soccer team and that continued this past week. Yows earned a hat trick over Chanute, and added another goal in a win against Eudora, as she tallied four goals in the two victories to go along with three assists.

Yows has helped the Wildcats to a 9-2 record on the season and currently leads the team with 15 goals scored and also has four assists on the year. She added another hat trick to her resume in a 6-0 win over Baldwin on April 29.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
