Week 6 Athlete of the Week: Kendall Crossley

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week six of the spring sports season, sponsored by Edward Jones-Craig Holtzen.

KENDALL CROSSLEY, JUNIOR, TRACK AND FIELD

Louisburg junior Kendall Crossley has emerged as one of the Wildcats’ top sprinters and it was on display last Friday at a tough De Soto Invitational. Crossley won the 100-meter dash in 12.70 second and finished a close second in the 200 dash in 26.68.

Crossley also joined Mackenzie Rooney, Addi Mallett and Suzanna Dansel to win the 4×100-meter relay in 50.57 seconds. She is also a member of the 4×400 relay that took fourth.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
