Meet the Candidates – Louisburg Homecoming 2026

Homecoming Week at Louisburg High School is in full swing for the fall. With many fun events and home games this week, it will be a great time for all students. Of course, homecoming is centered on the crowning of the Fall 2026 King and Queen. The crowning will take place during halftime at the Wildcats’ home game against Bonner Springs this Friday. Introductions of candidates and their parents start at 6:30, kickoff is set for 7:00.

Eight students were nominated by their peers to appear on the court, here are the nominees:

Caroline Apple and Will Leach

Caroline is the daughter of Nathan and Cindy Apple. Caroline has been a member of Student Council, FBLA and Interact Club for four years. She’s been in Track, Soccer and the Musical for 3 years. Caroline has also been in Select Choir and NHS for 2 years, and she’s been in the Senior Advisory group for one year. Caroline plans to major in physical therapy with an emphasis in pediatrics but is currently undecided on where she will attend school.  

Will is the son of Kimberly and Andrew Leach. Will has been a member of the Cheer team, Musical and Yearbook for 4 years. He has been a member of the select choir, International Club and Interact Club for 3 years. Will has also been in AV/ Production club, Concert Choir, Louisburg Sports Zone, Prom Committee, Rotary and Senior Advisory for 1 year. Will is currently undecided on a university but plans on continuing his education and athletic career and studying and majoring in journalism for broadcasting and communication.

Adelyn Moore and Max Amren

Adelyn  is the daughter of Tommy and Alison Moore. Adelyn has been a member of Student Council, Musical, Choir,  and the volleyball and track teams for 4 years. She has been a member of National Honor Society for 2 years, and the basketball team for 1 year. Adelyn plans to attend Kansas State University and major in Nursing. 

Max is the son of Mark and Carmen Amren. Max has been a part of the Musical, Choir, and the football and baseball teams for 4 years. He’s been a member of FBLA for three years and National Honor Society for two years. Max plans on playing football at the next level and majoring in engineering but is undecided on a school.

Kinley Scott and Owen Ebenstein

Kinley is the daughter of Luke and Cindy Scott. Kinley has been a member of the basketball and track teams for 4 years. She’s been a member in FCCLA for 3 years. Kinley’s been in Student Council, International Club, Interact Club, and NHS for two years. She’s also been in volleyball, WAVE and Senior Advisory for one year. Kinley plans to continue her athletic career in basketball to study something in the medical field but is undecided on a college at this time. 

Owen is the son of Lindsay Barnes and Robert Ebenstein. Owen has been a member of the wrestling team and the football team for four years. Owen plans to attend Central College and study Strength and Conditioning while continuing his Football Career.

Regan Williams and Brayden Stringfield

Regan is the daughter of TJ and Aimee Williams. Regan is this year’s captain of the volleyball team, and she’s been in volleyball, FFA, FBLA and Student Council for four years. Regan’s been in Interact Club for three years and National Honor Society for two years.  She has been on the track team, and a basketball team manager and on the senior advisory council for 1 year. Regan plans to attend college and major in biology, with hopes of pursuing a career in medical device sales, but is currently undecided on a university.

Brayden has been a member of the soccer team for 4 years. He has also been a member of the basketball team for 3 years. Brayden has been in Student Council and FBLA for 1 year. Brayden plans to study Sports Management but is currently undecided on a university.
