Week 1 Athlete of the Week: Jack Anderson

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week one of the spring sports season, sponsored by Landmark National Bank.

JACK ANDERSON, SENIOR, BASEBALL

Louisburg senior Jack Anderson couldn’t have asked for a better start to his season last week. In the first game of a doubleheader against Harrisonville, Anderson had a memorable performance at the plate that included 7 RBIs in the Wildcats’ season opening victory.

Anderson was clutch the entire game as he finished 4-for-4 with those seven runs batted in, which included a 3-run home run and a double. The Louisburg senior also scored twice in the Wildcats’ sweep of Harrisonville.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
