Week 4 Athlete of the Week: Blaise Vohs

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week four of the fall sports season, sponsored by Dr. Laura’s Orthodontics.

BLAISE VOHS, SENIOR, FOOTBALL

After missing the last two games due to injury, Louisburg senior Blaise Vohs made an immediate impact in his return for the Wildcat football team. Vohs scored a pair of touchdowns as he helped the Wildcats to a 21-0 victory over Bonner Springs last Friday, which was their first win of the season.

Vohs had a big night on the ground as he carried the ball just eight times, but racked up 113 yards rushing to go along with his two scores. He also handed the kicking duties as he was 3-for-3 on extra point tries.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the fall season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
