Week 1 Athlete of the Week: Mackenzie Scholtz

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week one of the spring sports season, sponsored by Midwest Collision.

MACKENZIE SCHOLTZ, GIRLS SOCCER, JUNIOR

Louisburg junior Mackenzie Scholtz had a great start to her season for the LHS girls soccer team last Thursday. Scholtz recorded a hat trick during the Wildcats’ 5-0 season opening win against Harmon at home. She scored those three goals on just eight shots in limited playing time.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
