Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week four of the spring sports season, sponsored by Edward Jones – Craig Holtzen.

BLUE CAPLINGER, TRACK AND FIELD, SENIOR

Louisburg senior Blue Caplinger had a big night Thursday at the Anderson County Invitational as he left the meet with three gold medals. Caplinger won the 100 and 200-meter dashes and later helped the 4×400 relay to a first place finish. As a team, the Wildcats took second overall in the meet.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the spring season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
