Week 7 Athlete of the Week: Austin Moore

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week seven of the winter sports season, sponsored by Prime Accounting Solutions.

AUSTIN MOORE, WRESTLING, SENIOR

Louisburg senior Austin Moore had a big first week back from injury for the Wildcat wrestling team. Moore went 3-0 at the Baldwin Invitational on Saturday and recorded three pins on his way to a title at 220 pounds. He won all three matches in a total mat time of 2:28 and is currently ranked No. 2 in Class 4A.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the winter season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
