Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week 11 of the winter sports season, sponsored by Dixon Contracting Services.

BRAYDEN GAGE, BOYS BASKETBALL, SENIOR

Louisburg senior guard Brayden Gage made things difficult for rival Paola last Friday in the Wildcats’ final home game. Gage recorded a team-high eight deflections that turned into four steals, three assists and six points in the Wildcats’ 51-33 win over the Panthers on Senior Night.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the winter season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
