Week 8 Athlete of the Week: Braden Branine

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week eight of the winter sports season, sponsored by Edward Jones-Craig Holtzen.

BRADEN BRANINE, FRESHMAN, BOYS SWIMMING

Freshman Braden Branine had a big day for the Osawatomie-Paola-Louisburg boys swim team last Thursday at the ILC league meet. Branine won the ILC league title in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:14. Branine also joined Remington Rice, Bridger Baus and Cole Brown to win the 200 medley relay title as well. The swim team also captured its fourth straight league title in the process.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the winter season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
