Week 8 Athlete of the Week: Carleigh Pritchard

Here is the Louisburg Sports Zone Athlete of the Week for week eight of the fall sports season, sponsored by Dixon Contracting Services.

CARLEIGH PRITCHARD, JUNIOR, VOLLEYBALL

Junior Carleigh Pritchard helped the Louisburg volleyball team to a sub-state championship this past Saturday as she recorded five kills and two blocks in a win over Bishop Miege. She also added four kills and a block in the win over Atchison in the championship game. Pritchard had a team-high eight kills against Piper in the team’s regular season finale earlier in the week. She currently leads the team with 218 kills on the season.

The athlete of the week award is announced every Wednesday morning during the fall season and the winner is selected by Louisburg Sports Zone with the help of nominations from coaches.
